Pixxel | Hyperspectral Imaging for Earth Observation

Seeing The
Unseen

Pixxel is on a mission to build a health monitor for the planet and track critical changes across land, oceans, and atmosphere before they escalate. From developing advanced hyperspectral satellites to transforming raw imagery into powerful insights, Pixxel brings together every layer of Earth observation.

By unlocking data beyond the reach of traditional systems, we aim to change how we respond to challenges like climate change, pollution and declining biodiversity.

The World’s Highest-Resolution
Hyperspectral Imagery

Pixxel’s satellites capture hyperspectral imagery at the highest resolution available
commercially, acting as a diagnostic system for the planet. Compact, efficient and precise, they spectrally fingerprint the Earth across hundreds of spectral bands to uncover insights into everything from surface composition to ecological health.

The constellation’s high revisit rates and exceptional clarity enable continuous monitoring and deliver the data needed to drive more informed decisions.

Daily Global Access

24-hour revisit frequency

High Spectral Resolution

5-metre spatial resolution

Unprecedented Detail

250+ VNIR and SWIR bands

IGNITING A NEW ERA

The Fireflies
In Orbit!

Satellite 1
Satellite 2
Satellite 3
Firefly is Pixxel’s first commercial constellation, featuring six satellites designed for high-resolution, high frequency hyperspectral imaging on a global scale.
Three Firefly satellites successfully launched on SpaceX Transporter-12 on January 14th 2025.
In orbit and actively capturing high-fidelity spectral information across diverse environment indicators, the Fireflies are advancing Earth Observation through deeper visibility, broader coverage and faster access. Three more satellites are set to launch soon, further strengthening the constellation.

Data-driven Insights For Every Sector
